Alright, so I think to start of the summer we should have a meeting/workshop thing right after we get out of school. (Like the first ten days. I'm going to be gone after June 9ish, so I want to get this in early. If this doesn't work out though, you guys are welcome to plan your own while I'm gone. I think Victor will still be here.) I'm pretty much free any day all day. I'm thinking that we can start this off small with a three hour session, but it could easily go longer. (Or shorter, but I wouldn't recommend that.) For location, I suggest a Barnes and Nobles. I would willingly offer my house for these meetings but I want to think that a lot of people will come and that a B&N would be a lot more convenient for some people. (I don't know where most of you live, so you're going to have to let me know what works best for you.) Also if we meet at a B&N we can take over the Starbucks there and terrorize those poor employees. Please leave comments about what you think! I want to get this started as soon as possible.

Sounds like a great idea! Barnes and Nobles is an awesome place that should be quite hospitable to people of our cause (lol).
I'm free basically whenever!
Also, I assume you mean the B&N near Westwood?

I definitely vote for the arboretum! I am busy this weekend and next Thursday. And that's about it. SOOOOOOO any time besides that works for me!

I'm busy next Thursday as well. So I vote for either the first of June (Wednesday) or the fourth of June (Saturday). I'll wait for more feedback before deciding, because obviously we want the greatest amount of people there.
I think the best times would be two to six. If you guys want to, we can meet for lunch before that, but it will already take up half of your day. Your call.
Tell me which day works better for you! Once we choose one, Victor and I will formulate a rough schedule/plan and run it by you guys.

I suggest the Barnes and Noble by Westwood, on Lakeline Mall Dr. - it's usually less crowded than the one at the Arboretum. Friday or Saturday nights would work very well for me; otherwise, anytime excluding 1600-2200 Monday-Thursday.
Jsizzle, please introduce yourself.

What would we be doing at the meeting? Writing or editing already written stuff?

Reading already written stuff and hearing the others' suggestions. You write on your own, except at marathons.

Well, we'll be doing twenty minute drills. Not necessarily sharing already written stuff- the point isn't to revisit old things, it's more to get writing.
